In 2005, A&F Electric was selected as the Design & Build electrical contractor for the new Clarient, www.clarientinc.com corporate headquarters and laboratories in Aliso Viejo, CA. The 78,000 sq ft project was planned and completed in multiple phases:

• Phase I consisted of 26,000 sq ft of laboratory and support areas and was completed in 2005.
• Phase II consisted of 27,000 sq ft of administration offices, IT area and manufacturing laboratory areas. Phase II was completed in 2006.
• Phase III, completed in April of 2006, included all site improvements and the last areas of office space.

      Since 2006, A&F has completed numerous small office remodels as well as several laboratory additions, including a new main entrance with new elevator and stairwell.

     In July of 2010 A&F was selected to provide Design & Build electrical services to convert 5,000 sq ft of existing office space into a new Cytology and F.I.S.H. Imaging laboratory. This newest Design & Build project included new power panels connected to both normal service power and emergency generator support power. New lab equipment support, fume hoods and power for 20 tons of added HVAC. This project was completed within Clarient's existing lab areas requiring careful coordination with owners reps and techs to prevent interruption of daily lab activities.
